NADL is open for walk-in service, but with a limited number of people allowed at a time on both levels.

We continue to offer curbside pickup as a convenient service for you.

  • Pick-ups must be scheduled.
  • Facemasks and social distancing are required.
  • All requests must be placed with us over the telephone or by email (info@newaygolibrary.org).
  • Search the catalog for NADL items at:  https://sam.llcoop.org/patroninfo.  Sign into your account and limit your search to Newaygo Area District Library location. An item is available for checkout if it says “On Shelf.”

(1) Scheduling

  • Call the Newaygo Area District Library at 231.652.6723 or email info@newaygolibrary.org to schedule a pick-up appointment. We will be taking requests:
  • Mondays-Friday 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday- 10:30 am-12:30 pm

(2) Pickup Times

Pickup times will be scheduled every quarter hour.  If you miss your scheduled pick up time, your items will be removed from your account and returned to the shelf at the day’s end, unless you call to re-schedule. 

  • Mondays thru Fridays- 11 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturdays- 11 am-12:30 pm

NOTE: If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please do not come to the library to pick up your holds. Contact the Library at 231.652.6723 to let us know you cannot make your pick up.

(3) Pickup Guidelines

  • When you arrive, call the library 231.652.6723 and remain in your car.
  • A staff person will walk to your car to check your library card/ID.  Show your card through the window, and they will turn over your bag of items. Please open your trunk or lower your backseat window.

If you no longer want your held items, please call the library 231.652.6723 and we will remove them from your account.
